The Pacific Locomotive Association, Inc. operates the Niles Canyon Railway as a living history museum interpreting the importance of our heritage railroads in the development of California and our nation.

We are a volunteer, non-profit organization. We welcome volunteers, and donations.

This is our annual fundraiser event. The cost of these tickets are NOT deductible.

Niles

Sunol trains will depart at 7:30,
and this ride is all about the lights.

This is our annual fundraiser event. There are no refunds.

Please pick your station carefully! You can use the Social Links on the ticketing pages (Facebook, Linked[in], email and Twitter), if you like, to let your friends know which station you ticketed, so they can try to get on the same train.

The round-trip ride is about an hour long, covering a 13-mile round trip.

General Seating tickets are $25*, and this means that you will have a seat on the train, but there is no guarantee that your group will all sit together. (*General Seating tickets are $17 on three Wednesdays; 28 NOV, 5 DEC and 12 DEC.)

Reserved Seating tickets are $40**, and there is a limited quantity for each train. You can ride in the Holiday Club Lounge car, and you can find out more about this premium experience. We will also have limited Reserved Seating in the Dome Observation Car, with snacks and drinks included. (** The Holiday Club Lounge car requires a ticket for everyone, regardless of age. The Dome Observation Car require tickets for ages 3 and above.)

A Private Caboose costs $600, for up to 24 people, and it includes a docent to answer your questions about the railway.

Locomotive and Train consists will depend on the availability of our antique equipment.
