Rent a Railbus

The M-200 "Skunk" diesel motorcar is unlike anything else on the railroad. It was built in 1926 for a short-line railroad and gained famed on the California Western between Willits and Fort Bragg where woodsmen claimed they could smell its exhaust in the mountain air before they could see or hear it coming.

Now you can capture the spirit of those early loggers. Charter the M-200 "Skunk" car for an hour or for the entire day to tour Niles Canyon in unique railroad style! The M-200 seats up to 36 passengers. It is wheelchair accessible and there is a wheel-chair lift at the depot.

The M-200 motorcar rents for $400 for the first two hours and $100 for each additional hour (2 hr. minimum). You can bring food and beverages on board your M-200 adventure, or you can use the picnic area near the depot.
