Come aboard and join us for a unique experience of a bygone era as you travel through historic Niles Canyon when rail travel was king and silent films were being made in the canyon.

One day only in July, Sunday, July 31st, 2022! Only 30 tickets per ride available!
For these rides, our ex-California Western M200 Railbus will take control of this ride. It is a self-propelled railcar with just 30 seats available for each trip so please act early if you wish to ride on this day. The M200 will depart Niles facing forward. The railbus will not be turned, but will return to Niles in reverse.
All 1 hour and 20 minute round trip departures are only from the Niles Station located at 37029 Mission Blvd. Fremont, CA 94536
Departure times: 10:30am, 12:00pm and 1:30pm.

$25.00 for Adults
$15.00 for Seniors (62+) and Children (3-12)
Children 2 years of age and under do not need a ticket and must be seated in a lap as seating is limited on the M200.
ONLINE TICKET SALES PREFERRED AND THE ONLY WAY TO INSURE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RIDE ON A GIVEN DAY.

Any remaining tickets for each day will be sold as walk-ups at our Niles/Fremont Station Ticket Office.
A wheel chair lift is available for those needing it or for those where the steps entering and existing our historic cars are challenging.
Our M200 is equipped with a small, single bathroom. Porta-potties are available at our Niles depot. There are no food concessions on board. You are welcome to bring a drink or a snack. We ask if at all possible you carry in and carry out any garbage/recyclables.
We do not have a gift shop at Niles/Fremont Station. We welcome people to shop our online store before or after your trip.
We love pets, but only trained service animals are permitted to accompany their handler while riding our trains. We appreciate your understanding.

The Niles Canyon Railway reserves the right to substitute motive power for the train without prior notice.
