Ride the rails the way track gangs used to in a railroad speeder car!
Get closer to the railroad and ride as many maintenance-of-way and signal employees did. Each car is a different adventure! Some speeders hold several passengers and some take only one and the operator.
Thanks to everyone that rode for our March event.
We are hoping to have another event late this year so please stop back and follow us on Facebook where we post daily updated on our operation.

One day only, Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Four ride times are available: 9:00AM, 10:30AM, 12:30PM, and 2:00PM. Rides will depart from our Niles station and will be a round trip to our Brightside yard through the heart of Niles Canyon where the speeders will be turned for the return trip to Niles.
Currently we are working on final details to understand how many tickets total we will have available for each departure. Do not miss this unique chance to ride our Niles Canyon Railway and see our Niles Canyon from a different perspective. Cost is $35 per person.
Rider requirements.
1. No riders under 5 years old.
2. Rider must sign release forms.
3. Passengers are required to wear close-toed shoes that fully cover the entire foot.
4. Long pants are preferred.
5. Given the speeders have limited seating in each car (typically 1 to 4 rider seats per car), we cannot guarantee we can keep all parties together for the ride. We will do our best to keep groups together, but you may need to split up.
6. No animals
7. No smoking or alcohol are allowed on these rides.
